It’s Week 4 of our July Rucking Series – and we’re back to Brooklyn tonight at 7 PM for 3 miles from Dumbo to the faraway land of Red Hook! If you don’t know what rucking is – just find a backpack, fill it with heavy stuff, and walk with it. That’s all there is to it!
The route is below, and can also be viewed here on MapMyRun.
We will meet at “Bridge Park 2”, which is just off the York Street stop on the F train, at 7 PM.
Then we will walk for about an hour down to The CopperPot, where they will have Taco Tuesday specials! It is also very possible that there will have been a fire in the kitchen and no food available (as was the situation in 2 of the past 3 rucks) – but I’ve got a feeling Red Hook will take care of us tonight!
As for getting home – there is a ferry close by that will get you to the Financial District in 20 minutes, or you could walk to the F train station at Smith and 9th Street.
So make sure to join us for the best ruck ever. And don’t forget your bag! (And perhaps an umbrella!)
