What a week! Rachel Tavel returned to the Willy B, TWO Rise leaders had birthdays, and unlike most weeks, people actually SMILED in the photos! (jk we’re always smiling)

When it’s pouring, workouts are anything but boring. These brave souls tackled a HIIT workout in a torrential downpour! 20 seconds of exercise, followed by 10 seconds of being rained upon.
Tuesday was an extra special day for the Brooklyn Badasses as we celebrated Coach Chad’s birthday with a C.H.A.D. workout! If you’re wondering what that even means, it’s Core HIIT Anything goes Dash to the finish! We wrapped up with a 39 second mountain pose to set great intentions for Chad’s 39th year. We celebrated with pie in your face (obviously) and while we may have forgotten to do the birthday rap, Chad rebounded nicely by solving the jumble over coffee at Hungry Ghost!

An unexpectedly rainy Thursday morning in Queens, with some new and old faces showing up. There were talks of investing in a new die since this one seems to always roll on the same two sides! We also brought back some Bulgarian Split Squats to the pyramid and paired it with the #ClassicQueens dips.

Our Hills workout was Anything Goes! Cardmaster Chad (not to be confused with Grandmaster Flash) dealt the cards and our runners dutifully completed the corresponding exercises! (Rachel) Tavel brought her coworker Sam, who absolutely crushed it. Welcome to the club!
