Spring is here and it didn’t disappoint. Snow, snow, and more snow! Here’s a recap of what happened:
On Monday at Washington Square Park we welcomed the week with our usual 20 seconds of work and 10 seconds of rest. Leo and Susana came back for the first time in a long time and we had 2 newbies! We also thought we’d recruited another new Riser but it was just a guy asking for a cigarette. We gave him lots of smiles and some high fives instead.
Our Tuesday workout in BK this week was courtesy of Kate. Kate is great! She introduced us to a crop circles workout, which had us literally running circles around Grand Army Plaza. We also welcomed more new faces – Dan, Calli, and Amy!

Meanwhile in Queens we welcomed spring with lots of kicks, squats, and thumbs ups.
Rise up and Shine Queens Warriors! Warm weather is just around the corner!
Speaking of warm weather, spring was definitely in the air for our Core Body Bootcamp as New York welcomed yet another Nor’easter! We awoke to greet Toby with a waterproof deck of cards, dealers choice, jump squats, and planks! Thanks for holding off on the heavy snow until after the workout.
Did we say snow? Did you get your fill? Because there was plenty of it to go around at this weeks Form and Flow in front of the Flatiron building!
We channeled our inner warrior and started the day with a smile!
Friday for Risers is our time to shine. We only get so many of them a month, so we like to challenge ourselves. On the fourth Friday of every month we have our DAY OF RECKONING!! We ran as many laps of our favorite bridge as possible in 30 minutes, trying for that highly sought after PR. We then celebrated another week in the books at the Remedy diner. Great work Risers! See you all next week for our very special fifth Friday Hills workout. We’ll be meeting at the Manhattan side of the Brooklyn Bridge. I heard a rumor there will be donuts!
